5 Weeks Since Lift Off!!!!

It's been 5 weeks since I officially started this Keto Journey.  It's gone fast.  So, what's been happening?

1.  The apple cider vinegar is becoming second nature now.  I usually drink it diluted in a cup of water, twice a day.

2.  Last weekend I had a "cheat" weekend, and even with the holidays coming, I am not sure I want to do that again.  It was only one meal on Friday and one on Saturday.  But I was so sorry I did it.  Cravings came back with a vengeance.  I couldn't wait until the next day to go right back to full on Keto.  

3.  Hard, solid belly fat is getting soft and squishy, like Good Ole St. Nick's jelly belly.  I take that as a good sign.  I haven't been able to go get weighed so I don't know what's happening in that arena, but I can't help but believe something is changing.

4.  I still feel much more clear headed, and mentally energetic.  

5.  I took my first short walk in the hall outside my apartment yesterday.  It's not that I can't do the walking.  I can when I have to.  Now I want to.

6.  Finally, I'm still learning.  Watching the videos, picking what sounds right and sounds hoaky...  I don't agree with every video I see.  Especially, I am careful about those where the people are selling products.  It can get difficult at times deciding which one to go with when sometimes they differ in what they are teaching.  For example, some promote the bulletproof coffee while others don't say anything about it.  Some promote the apple cider vinegar and others don't mention it at all.  I have cut back on the coffee myself because I just am not a coffee drinker.  I like intermittent fasting with water only, or maybe some hot tea.

So, there we are, after 5 weeks.  Still going.  The time flew by.  Let's see what's going on in another 5 weeks!!!
