One Day Before Lift Off

Hello again!

It has been a really successful week of keto diet practice.  This hasn't been keto with occasional sidesteps of pasta, potatoes, or rice.  This week has been full on keto, with much of it having been no carbs at all.  Zero!  Not having carbs isn't difficult for me for the most part.  Potatoes are hard for me to give up though. And so is rice.  Especially when I am having my favorite Indian cuisine...homemade.  Pasta is a bit less difficult.  Especially since I have figured out that I can enjoy the homemade meat sauces I love without the pasta.  As for the Indian recipes, I am gradually working out ways to adapt them whenever possible.  Otherwise I save them for those few and far between "feast days," which for me will hopefully be only once a month and no more than twice a month, at least until I have this diabetes under control enough to rid myself of those medications.

Last time I wrote, I went a bit long, so this time, I'm cutting it short.  Besides, I have a grandson here for the weekend and spending time with him is a much bigger thing than writing a blog.  So, with that, I will say Ta-Ta, and get on with the business of being Grandma.

By the way, did I say last time that I absolutely love "Bulletproof Coffee?"  But I am still waiting to get more ideas on how to use apple cider vinegar before I actually start using that regularly.  I'll end with this...don't try it by the teaspoonful.  I did.  It's nasty.  And it cleared my sinuses.  That was the good part.  If it does that on a regular basis, that will be good reason enough to use apple cider vinegar regularly.
