Review and Updated Photos:
Photos taken about a month ago. I just cannot get over the change. Keto works. Low-carb works, Apple cider vinegar works. If you are starting on this journey and having trouble getting started, don't give up. If you have been successful for awhile and then hit a plateau, don't quit. Take a few days to eat anything you want. I mean anything. My former nurse practitioner told me to take 2 weeks doing this. I couldn't even do 2 weeks. I was absolutely miserable. So, I went back to Keto in just a couple of days. The holidays stalled me out this year, at least with the scales. But I am also doing exercises with 2 lb and progressed to 3 lb weights. I feel like I am still losing in size, but the weight is kind of stagnant. I am told building muscles, while firming the body, weighs more than the fat that is disappearing. I feel great! Now that spring is here, I am looking forward to getting outside in the yard and garden, so I can get a big boost on losing more weight. Honestly, we are not supposed to put as much stock in what the scales say as we do in what we look like, our measurements, and our clothing sizes. I am still literally tightening my "belt" regularly. (Actually drawstrings...LOL)
So, keep going. Keep trying. Remember this...a year from now, you can be thinner and healthier, or you can quit and stay right where you are, or even get heavier and feel more unhealthy. Where do you want to be a year from now?
